Tournament Rules

Tournament Rules

  • Entry Rules- All entry fees must be paid before the start of the tournament. If a team withdraws from the tournament once the bracket is drawn, they are responsible for paying the tournament fee.
  • Home Team- Home team for pool play will be decided by a coin toss prior to first pitch. The higher seed will be the home team in bracket play. 
  • Time Limits- For any tournaments with an age limit up to 13U, the time limit will be 6 innings of play, or 1 hour and 30 minutes.    
    • For 14U tournaments and up, there will be a limit of 7 innings, or 2 hours of play
  • Rosters- Rosters must be submitted prior to the start of the tournament. No player may be added once the start of their first game. 
  • Extra Hitter- A team can use an extra hitter. If a team starts with an extra hitter and is unable to end the game with one, an out will be recorded every time that position is scheduled to bat. 
  • Gate Fee- Gate fee will be 5$ for every adult entering the facility. Children under the age of 12 will be admitted for free. 
  • Tie Breaker- W/L Record, H2H between two teams only, runs allowed, runs scored, coin toss.

 

  • Festival Rules- For some tournaments we will run them under our Festival Rules. This means during each inning there will be a maximum of 3 outs OR 6 batters allowed. This is too allow quicker games focusing on more at bats for the participants. 

 

  • No metal spikes, sunflower seeds, tobacco, or outside food or drink is allowed at U.S Baseball Park. For a full list of park policies click HERE
